The Foundations of Decorative Stitches
The topic of this workshop is the foundations of decorative stitches, focusing on several vertical and diagonal stitches in the beautiful Choose Love or Choose Happy canvas by Lauren Bloch Designs. If you are wanting to branch out from continental and basketweave to add some flair and pizazz to your canvas but are unsure of which stitch to use, this is the class for you. Each of the stitches will be taught and practiced with instructions on the proper tools to use to allow the thread to enhance and compliment the canvas. In addition to learning basic decorative stitches, we will also learn how to read the patterns, determine how to compensate, and the best way to start the next row (both of which will be tricky!).
The canvas design is 9" x 7" on 13 count. Canvas size is 13"w x 11"h.
